The inventory is found in the cartulary of Turku cathedral, which is one of two cartularies that were copied on the request of the cathedral chapter in Turku in the late 15th century. Both cartularies were included in the Registrum Ecclesiae Aboensis, which was originally edited in 1890 by Reinhold Hausen, Director of the State Archives of Finland, and re-edited in 1996 in a facsimile edition. When Hausen made his edition, he rearranged the entries of the two cartularies chronologically and thus his edition does not follow the original order of entries in the manuscripts; see Reinhold Theodor Hausen, ed., Registrum Ecclesiae Aboensis, eller Ȧbo domkyrkas Svartbok = The Black book of Abo Cathedral, Facsimile ed. Helsinki: Kansallisarkisto-Riksarkivet, 1996. The version published here has been lightly edited, modernized, and brought into conformity with DALME standards.
