Francescho di Berto died in the year 1389 some time between the writing of his will in January and the listing of his goods, found in the inventory dated to July. Among these were a house located in San Piero Maggiore in Florence, and several other pieces of land tended by persons named in the dossier. Among his belongings were "many odds and ends in poor condition" (piu bazzicature triste) "a chicken coop" (1 gabbia da polli) (f. 154r).
