This record contains an inventory of all goods belonging to John Gogh, a list of debts owed by him and to him, and his testament. Upon bequeathing his soul to God and his body to the cathedral of Dublin, to which he donates a missal and some money, John divides his possessions between his son Nicholas, his daughter Elizabeth, his wife Anne Plunket, as well as Philip Calfyne, a chaplain of Waterford, and a certain John Swetman. Berry in Register of Wills and Inventories of the Diocese of Dublin, The Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland Extra Volume for 1896-1897 (Dublin: The University Press, 1898), 38-41.
