The canon Gabriel Cerdà accumulated a large patrimony during the second half of the fifteenth century. After his death, the public notary Gabriel Abellar compiled the inventory of the goods that Cerdà held in one of his possessions, a Majorcan country house in Santa Margalida. Through this source, it is possible to know the contents of the house and gain an understanding of the daily life of its residents. This inventory was published with an extensive introduction in Maria Barceló Crespí and Albert Cassanyes Roig. We are grateful to Maria Barceló Crespí for her kind permission to re-publish the inventory.
