DALME is unequivocally committed to the ideals of openness and transparency as fundamental to scholarship and the scholarly community. We honour this commitment and fulfil our responsibility to share the results of our research and make the process as transparent as possible by making all project outcomes available to anyone to freely use. DALME fully supports and forwards the goals of the European Open Access policy.
To this end, the project’s documentation is made available under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. The source code of the software we develop is available on the project’s GitHub repository under an open source, BSD-style license.
Likewise, all of our data is made available, provided that it does not infringe the rights of any third party, through our website interface under the Open Data Commons Attribution License v1.0. We are also working towards making our data available as Linked Open Data through a SPARQL endpoint, alongside machine-readable versions of the project’s semantic representation in the appropriate standard formats (OWL/RDF, HTML/XML, and Turtle). In addition, static versions of our datasets are made available, in a range of open formats (N-triples, Notation-3, Comma Separated Values), from the project’s Dataverse.
