The following dossier contains the inventory of Niccholo di Messer Ghuccio, originally written on October 26, 1425. The dossier contains listings of real property and farmland in towns such as San Gimignano and Val d’Elsa; inventories of moveable property; and lists of credits and debits. The inventories of moveable property contain normal household goods such as a writing desk, tools to stoke a fire, and barrels of wine, among many other items. One particularly interesting page also includes a lengthy list of books, including works by Virgil, Ovid, and Dante, to name but a few.
