Jean Petit was a barber working in Paris at the end of the fifteenth century. Living on Rue Saint Antoine, he was married twice, with children issuing from the first union -- likely part of the reason behind the creation of this inventory. No other documents related to Jean are currently known. The date of this document is 22 March 1502, nouveau style (n.st.)
