An inventory of the goods belonging to the clothman John Mayho, of Chew in Somerset, England at the time of his death in 1495. The goods recorded in this inventory show that Mayho was involved in most stages of cloth production. He owned a large flock of sheep and the goods recorded within his shop include shears for harvesting wool and a turning wheel for refining the raw product. The inventory also records a dye house suggesting that this stage of cloth production was also performed in-house.
