Jean de Graincourt, a priest of Saint-Amé in Douai, died on 25 September 1451. He asked the collegiate chapter not to make an inventory or auction his real estate. His request was granted and his executors only fulfilled his last wishes in October 1452. His executors drew up an account with the salaries due to the deceased as receipts and delivered the movable property to the legatees.
