The testiment of Ormanno del Nero, which reveals his participation in overseas trade, also designates his sons Giovanni and Neri as his lawful heirs. The April 4, 1390 inventory lists three enslaved persons among the household assets, including a kitchen maid named Maria who worked inside the house, as well as two unnamed persons designated as outside workers (321v).
